.NET Domain Name Registrations
When the .NET universal top-level domain name extension was first started in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure organizations. Considering that there were no special regulations about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, .NET domains were booked and used for diverse purposes and by lots of people. This extension represents a wonderful substitution for dot COM, notably if the necessary domain with the latter TLD is not available for registration.
Grabbing a .NET domain with our company is as easy as ABC and takes no more than a couple of minutes, in view of the fact that we work with an ICANN-approved registrar company. You can book such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can transfer it to our company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer process is finished. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are not locked and that you have obtained an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures set up by the .NET Registry to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily alter the WHOIS contact info of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you wouldn't like this information to be public at all, you can get a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to view your true contact details.
The dot NET top-level domain name extension supports internationalized names, so you can take a decision whether you want to concentrate on a specific country or territory using a domain name in the regional language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
